Camping on the lake with family is always a fun part of our summer and we were looking forward to a return to Hunters. Aside from some very cold water (at least the adults thought so) and some picky fish, it was a great time. The weather cooperated and we soaked in some much needed sun.
At the start of every fishing trip, one must make sure to read the regs - even if one cannot yet read.
It just isn't vacation if fishing isn't involved. Thankfully catching is not a requirement for a fun vacation. When a lake as big as Lake Roosevelt fills more than 40 feet in a matter of weeks, it's not hard to understand why the catching was, well, sloooow.
3 little monkeys.
When the hill gets to steep it's always good when a sweet cousin gives a helpful shove.
Grammy's here!
Checking in with Aislyn.
These two are almost 12. How did that happen?
No Daddy! I told you the first time that it was cold!
The whole passel of kids busy creating, destroying and creating again.
Here's Daddy heading out for an hour of quiet, tangle free fishing.
Never to big for a jiggle hug!
A perfect spot for launching rocks.
Bet you can guess where they're headed. What a wonderful Grammy!
There's something about little cousins holding hands that melts my heart!
And here they are, the whole passel of cousins who know that as soon as they are done with this, it's time to hit the beach. Hurry up already! (Aislyn, Jake, Lane, Pearson, Morgan, Logan, Josh, Kort, Maddie, Cora and Sydney)

Oh these pictures are priceless!! I love them all. Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation. Can't wait for the next adventure!!!
