A Bike Ride

Last weekend we talked Geoff and Jocelyn into going on a bike ride.  Actually, I don't think we gave them much choice.  More like a, "Hey, want some company this weekend? Oh and by the way, we're going for a bike ride and you're in...right?"  It worked.  We were provided lovely lodgings for the weekend and they accompanied us on our ride.  What kind of guests are we anyway?!  No, don't answer that!

It was a lovely spot for a bike ride.  A nice (translation: flat) paved bike trail along the Snake river.  The scenery was beautiful and a fishing derby was in process.  Not that those two things are related but it does mean that all involved were entertained.

Even the kids were entertained - we got to watch some firefighters in a training exercise.  Definitely a hit with the kiddos!

Along the river embankment there was a city park with a great playground and a good place for a picnic lunch.

These two cousins seemed quite content in their buggy.  So much so that a sleepy Aislyn took advantage of a built in pillow to catch quick nap.

Thanks G, J and A for being spontaneous with us!(:

  1. I love how you keep so active even with three kids in tow. Also love how you share it all too!
