'In the Shadow of the Highest...'

We have had some wonderful days at convention! A beautiful setting for sure and a foretaste of blessings to come. We are sure thankful for the wonderful help and encouragement and want to keep close all that was heard.

Some clouds and cooler weather (there was frost Sat. morning - we survived a cold night in the tent but it could have been worse ... a few hours north got a foot of snow!) the last two days were a contrast from the 85+ weather on Thursday and Friday!

The grounds have some ponds stocked with trout (really BIG trout!) and of course this was a magnet for Lane! We spent quite a bit of time in between meetings on and around the bridge looking at the fish and tossing rocks and sticks in.
The fish are fed every evening (as well as throughout the day by kids who smuggle some bread from the tables...) and they make sure to put on a display!

Daddy's girls all dressed up!
