As has become our yearly tradition, we made the trek across the High Line to the farm for Thanksgiving. What we were reminded of this year is that plans are what we make until life happens. And 'life' happened this year! Whether because of illness, weather or distance, we were the only ones of Ryan's siblings and their families to make it home. After we explained to Lane that his cousins weren't going to be able to come, he looked up at me and said, "But Mommy, I want everyone to come!" We missed you all!
The picture of contentment.
Snuggling with Momma.
Making their own 'Thanksgiving dinner.'
Heading out to play in the snow with Daddy.
Grandpa Larry pulling the kids on sleds - a definite highlight.
Our little group this year. Great Grandma Ruth came out for the turkey dinner so was nice to get some time with her too.

I love the little guy snugling with momma!
