The Scotchman

The Scotchman watches over our favorite fishing hole and has drawn our gazes more than once.  While Marvin and Kelsay (our ministers) were with us, the guys all decided a hike was in order.  Off the three of them went while the kids and I made a much needed Costco run. 

 Only a half mile left up the ridge line and the first snow of the season!

At the top - the guys couldn't have asked for a better day.  The smoke has cleared out and the temperature made hiking in shirt sleeves comfortable. 

There it is, our favorite place to fish/swim/hang out in the summer (middle of the picture where the finger of land juts into the lake).
