A few random moments from our summer that is fast slipping away. Just a few days left before Lane heads back to school and the rest of us settle into a routine again. I'm quite certain that the summer months fly by the quickest!
A special treat to have visitors from Oregon! Dana and Co. stayed a night on their way through and we enjoyed every moment! The kids loved getting reacquainted with Carsten and Reese and Morgan enjoyed coloring with Dana's mom Cate (better known as Oma). Dana and I had a great time chatting and catching up. We miss you guys!
Lane seems to be happiest when there is a fish on the end of his line.
A picnic with Don and Darlene always includes a bit of fishing.
A bit of sidewalk chalk provides hours of entertainment for this little character. She doesn't limit herself to coloring only sidewalks either!
None of my kiddos takes a regular nap anymore (Logan is down to one every few days) but with all the excitement packed into this summer, they have all caught a nap or two on the fly. You know they've been playing hard when they sleep hard too!
