Just across the road from us is a wooded area frequented by wildlife. Wild turkeys have moved in this past week and stirred up great interest. Ryan dug around in his gear, found the turkey call and he and the kids have been entertaining themselves talking to turkeys.
The 'conversations' are a bit slower than the kids are used to so it didn't take long for the youngest two to wander off to more entertaining pursuits. Lane, on the other hand, was hooked. Even after his Dad headed off to finish more pressing chores, Lane begged to keep working the turkey call.
He's grown up a bit since the last video we took of him 'interacting' with turkeys (he was 3). Just for laughs, here it is again:
