Me: "Mommy has a bad thing in her breast and the doctors are going to make it go away."
Lane: "Oh."
Me: "But it's kind of funny. Not only does the bad thing go away, this goes away too." And I pointed to my head.
Lane: "Your memory?!"
Ha! No kiddo, pregnancy took care of that!
Me: "No, my hair!"
And 3 kiddos collapsed to the floor in a heap of giggles.
Glad I can provide comic relief.
Me again. In don't have a way to reach you, except here. in your chemo treatments, if you feel nauseated at all, the Essiac will help you feel better! it's been proven! it's all natural!
ReplyDeleteglad you are staying positive as My heart has been hurting for your family and a sweet lady in the family you married into, since learning she also has cancer. thankful for prayers.
A friend ...
I was wondering how you would explain the hair thing to the kids... and your family managed to do it with humor!! YAY!

Thanks for your comments, concern and info on Essiac. It is appreciated!
What a nice way you presented it to your kids, met by Lane's hilarious response :) And then all of their response when you told them your hair :) Your family's shared sense of humor will help during this next stretch of time no doubt. Thinking of you!!
