Looking toward our rooms from the beach.
One of the three pool areas they had to offer. Morgan is doing a back flop. This was the Lazy river pool.
There were grills down below our rooms that we could use so it made for convenient meal making a few nights. Logan is giving these burgers a thumbs up!
Looking out from our room balcony.
Often the mornings looked like this while we were getting ready for the day......cartoons are very captivating even in Hawaii.
Morgan figured even Grandma would approve of this beach! It was fantastic having such a nice beach right out from our place.
Plenty of holes were dug and piles of sand built, here Zach is enjoying the sun and sand. Nature had a way of making sure it was all smooth each morning and ready to be used again.
Logan often had a shovel, truck, or bucket in his hand. Something about sand....its hard not to play in it.
I love the actions and reactions that took place with these kids. I don't think they slowed down any more than the waves.
Hmmm.....run or duck.....
Logan and Morgan playing with the bogie boards......floating on something as a wave comes for you makes it much more interesting.
That's a good smile!
Did you know you could save 15% by switching to Geico?
Giant Koy in the pond around the time share. This could have been very good snorkeling as well but the ground crew might have got upset.
Good little spot we found to have lunch one day that we went exploring down in Lahaina. Lots of tourist shops.....some very cool art galleries...."kids do not touch...stay back...ahhhhh, lets just go, it is too stressful bringing kids into art galleries"
Yay for Ice Cream!
Playing in the waves till the sun goes down...they had no problem sleeping at night.
Had to take a picture of this little sail boat in the sunset. Living in the mountains we really don't get to see the sun sets like the plains or oceans. It is enjoyable to just sit and watch as the sun sets.

Looks like an awesome break! And I feel and extra week of Hawaii was much better for the kids than a week of school! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat Pictures!! I'm so glad you all had a fantastic time. Yes, it'll be a trip the kids will always remember.
