Ryan has been wanting to learn a few basics on pruning fruit trees. We have a couple apple trees, several varieties of plum trees and one that we're hoping is a cherry tree and they were all out of control. So our friend Don came over to give Ryan a few pointers.
I loved this picture - it looks like Ryan and Lane are the perfect students! That's our seasonal creek running through the pasture. Did you notice? No snow!!!

After Lane saw Daddy get the chainsaw, he ran into the house muttering 'Lane's chainsaw, Lane's chainsaw' and then ran right back out to 'help Daddy'.(:
