Lane loves running around in a diaper - in fact he pleads to "run 'round diaper mama" and then squirms away before you can get pants back on him! So yesterday he was playing happily in his diaper and I was busy in the office when I hear a noisy 'KLUMP, KLUMP, KLUMP' coming from the dining room. Worried, I came tearing out of the office and burst into laughter to see him in his daddy's shoes...
He learned quickly that running in daddy's shoes is not advised - after a moments hesitation, "Crash, mama, Safe!" and off he went. We often tell him he's safe (complete with the umpire's safe signal) and he then forgets he's got an owie and grins instead.
