Rocks, Lots and Lots of Rocks...

Ryan's been chipping away at his latest project, redoing the landscaping around the foundation of the house.  Saturday saw great progress with the rental of a Dingo to spread the 15 yards of rock he had delivered.  It was worth every cent of the rental price for sure.  The kids had a ball 'helping Daddy' and were both worn out before bed time even rolled around.  (Apparently, helping Mommy during the week isn't quite as strenuous.)

Getting a little prep work done before the Dingo arrived.  We found out that Lane's good at giving instruction too.(:

Daddy's boy.

Hard work is serious business.(:

She had fun picking up the rocks dropped in the grass and then dumping them with the rest of the rocks.

The Dingo in action.

Of course, he couldn't help but find other projects to do while the Dingo was around.  Here the neighbors horse kept a close eye on Ryan cleaning up the stump he had ground up.

The kids found plenty to entertain them too so it wasn't all work and no play.(:

Apparently watching Mommy work is quite hilarious to Morgan.  We'll not read into that too much!

On the list for next summer:  painting the deck and covering the foundation with decorative rock.  We have no problems coming up with lists around here...
