August Days

August is a really beautiful time of year here in our little place.  We try and take in as many of these beautiful days as we can because we know winter is not far away.

This picture sums up what Lane likes most about summer....taking in the sun, swimming, and a fishing pole at hand.

Logan is happiest when he can be playing in or on the water in some fashion.

And Morgan bounces between soaking up water and soaking up sun.

And as the saying goes, I have been just trying to keep my head above water through it all!

Fishing of course is a staple activity.....Lane and Logan with "money" fish.  We get $15 a fish to catch and kill Lake Trout so the kids love to pull these in and add to their piggy banks.

One of the ways we love to close out the evenings is a trip to one of the restaurants on the water.
