DIY Fun

Plumbing projects aren't high on Ryan's list of exciting home improvement but our main bathroom was in need of some help.  On a recent long weekend, he decided to go for it.

The before picture.  I rarely get a true before picture since I usually remember after he's already dug in..

The fun part.  He discovered that flying pieces of cast iron can leave chips in the toilet bowl (which proceed to leak each time it's flushed - thankfully caulking takes care of that!).

The quick and easy way to insert a tub surround.

And the finished product.

  1. That looks great! Good job... fun to do projects with kids huh? Reese did the same thing with paint when we were building the house... just have to get their fingers in there.
