Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Now isn't this an interesting scene in the normally white month of January?

Yes, that's Ryan installing rain gutters outside Lane's room.  And Lane is busy helping him install rain gutters inside too.  One never knows where rain gutters might be needed. 

The basement below Lane's room could have used something!  We ended up with some leakage, seepage and musty smellage ... and one really late night removing sopping wet carpet padding and carpet.  Who knew that carpet padding could wick water almost the entire length of the basement downstairs?!  Oh, the joys of being a homeowner!
