The local ski area has a fun torch light parade and fireworks show over MLK, Jr. weekend. My sister and her family joined us and we headed up the hill for some fun.
The torchlight parade.
It was foggy and snowing so clarity wasn't especially great but Lane was still pretty excited. He oohed and awed and clapped with the rest of us and kept us entertained with running commentary: "the stars are falling" followed by a squeal and then after an especially loud boom "the stars are POPPING!"
Poor Morgan was so bundled up she looked more like a penguin waddling. Once she fell or sat down, there was no getting back up for her!
One should be careful posing for a picture in the midst of a snowball fight - Dad and Uncle Ryan don't play fair!
