A Scouting Trip

At the end of the week with Bumpa and Grammy, we headed east to meet Daddy at a new campground we were curious about.  The trip over was quite eventful as Bumpa had to change not 1 but 2 blown out tires on the trailer.  So instead of having camp set up when Daddy got there after work, we arrived at the same time.  Aside from Bumpa spending most of the next day looking for new tires, the rest of the time was much less stressful and actually quite relaxing.

After spending the morning at the beach, we waited for Bumpa at the campsite thinking he'd be there any time.  Of course as it always happens, just after we headed down to the boat, he arrived!

Bumpa's back!  Hopefully no more tire issues...

While we were exploring, this plane landed right next to us.  He was filling his pontoons with water to fight a little fire up on the hillside.  We were amazed when he dropped his load to see how much water those pontoons actually held.  It must have been a pretty small fire since we didn't see flames or much smoke.
