Ryan's Dad had back surgery a little while ago and has been recuperating at Randy and Alison's. We were glad to spend a weekend with them all and very glad to see Dad doing so well and in such great spirits.
There have been numerous wildfires in the Pacific Northwest and the skies have been quite hazy. There have been some spectacular sunrises and sunsets as a result.
Despite the smokey haze, the temperature was perfect for playing outside and for burning off some energy.
Apparently the kiddos weren't the only ones with some energy to spare! They kept the little ones entertained and their wives wondering if they might be the next candidates for back surgery...
You got some really sweet pictures! So sad to see Grandpa leave this morning but so glad his back surgery has been such a success! Will miss him though.
