Christmas

We spent Christmas at home again this year.  It's fun to see the kids anticipation and excitement.  They got spoiled rotten by more than just their dad.

Logan with lots of smiles! New travel luggage that will need to get a good workout.  We have several trips already in the works.

Morgan is sure excited!

Lane was really pleased to get a hunting blind for hunting this next year....he can't wait to try it out.

New wet suits!  They can't wait to try these out as well.   We'll have to see about that.....

More loot!

Our secret Santa came back this year and spoiled the kids again.  Last year with the days leading up to Christmas they made several secret trips and dropped off packages with nice notes.  The kids were wondering if it would happen again this year so you can imagine their excitement when one evening there was a loud knock on the door.....they ran as fast as the could to the door to see a shadow disappearing into the dark and a package in front of the door.  Very exciting!

Some of the great stuff they dropped off.  It has been a super fun and kind thing that they have done.

So the kids got the idea on Christmas eve to set out the game camera and see if we could get a glimpse of this secret Santa.  We did but it wasn't very revealing.

I think the funnest thing was to capture the kids as they opened the door and retrieved the package.

  2. I remember Jeannie trying to figure out who was dropping off the secret santa gifts last year! We even enjoyed some of those treats from the boxes. How neat that this special person did it again this year! Those suitcases will come in handy next week...Can't wait to see you all.
